‘Violins Of Hope' Exhibit In Nashville Through May

Posted

There's an exhibit downtown that is both heartbreaking and moving -- called "Violins of Hope." The room is filled musical instruments, but they are noticeably quiet.

"This is the biggest exhibition we’ve done. We have about 26 instruments here," said violin maker Avshalom Weinstein.

It's a room for reflection, and it's part of the Nashville Public Library's "Violins of Hope" exhibit.

"Some of these instruments were played during the second world war by Jewish people in camps," said Weinstein.

He's brought the violins around the world and throughout the United States.

The exhibit runs through May 27. Violins of Hope is free and open to the public. For more information, click here.
