The Stuff the Bus campaign has collected many back to school items for students.

All week donations have been coming into the Unite Way of Metropolitan Nashville, and on Friday they held the Stuff the Bus Days of Action Sort-a-Thon.

More than 750 volunteers were at Grand Avenue Transportation helping sort the donated supplies into the backpacks.

Those backpacks will be delivered to more than 8,500 Metro School students in order to help them start the school year off right.

The backpacks and school supplies will be delivered to students at nine elementary schools on Wednesday.
