BENTONVILLE, Ar - Walmart announced it will stop selling merchandise bearing the image of the confederate battle flag.
The country's largest retailer made the announcement Monday days after a racist gunman killed nine people at an African-American church in Charleston.
A spokesman for the company says they don't want to offend anyone with items they offer... and they're taking steps to remove the products that promote the flag.
The retail giant currently carries the Confederate flag online as well as t-shirts and belt-buckles featuring the stars and bars.
