GALLATIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — A man wanted on multiple charges was arrested after police and SWAT surrounded a Gallatin home today.
Gallatin Police say William D. Williams is wanted for aggravated assault and kidnapping. Metro Police hold additional warrants for his arrest.
Officers surrounded Williams after he barricaded himself inside a house on Gwen Avenue Saturday afternoon.
Police say some nearby homes were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
They ultimately took Williams into custody.
