The wife of a Giles County murder victim was charged in the 26-year-old cold case.
Mary Ann Hughes was charged with the murder of her husband, Larry Hughes, who was shot and killed in 1990.
She was charged with first degree murder. She reported Larry missing, but 16 days later his naked body was found in a dump.
The case was reopened last year.
