FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Williamson Medical Center will resume in-patient elective surgeries that require overnight stay in the hospital beginning August 24.
A statement from the medical center said the decision was made due to a stabilized pattern of reported active cases for the last two weeks.
"In-patient elective surgeries are critical to the care of those we serve. It is also crucial that patients not delay routine or urgent medical care," the statement read.
The medical center said it remains vigilant in following enhances safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
