NASHVILLE, Tenn. – A woman was assaulted and threatened with a knife by a suspect during an early morning carjacking in south Nashville.
The incident was reported around 4:30 a.m. Thursday, behind a Mapco gas station on Murfreesboro Pike.
Officials with Metro police said the suspect threatened the woman with a knife and then struck her in the face.
At that point, he took off in her 2006-model Dodge Ram.
The victim was taken to an area hospital, but her injuries were not serious.
Police have not yet released a description of the suspects. No other details were known.
