Posted

A woman was charged after bringing her two young children to a drug deal and leaving her boyfriend suffering from an overdose in a ditch, according to a police report.

Aftan Coursey and her boyfriend reportedly drove to Smyrna to buy heroin and brought a five-year-old and two-year-old to the deal.

The man took the drugs on the drive back then reportedly passed out in a ditch.

Police said Coursey left him there while she took the children inside and allegedly snorted the remaining heroin.

It wasn't until about an hour later she called 911 about her unconscious boyfriend.

He's listed in critical condition, and she has been charged with reckless endangerment and bond violation.
