Markman was charged with DUI the night of the crash but police officials say they needed further investigation to determine who had the right of way. According to a witness who was later located and interviewed, Markman ran a red light and crashed into the Impala.

Markman, who was arrested at her home Wednesday night, is being held in lieu of $300,000 bond.
