CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman died after being hit by a car in Clarksville Friday night.
Police say the 57-year-old woman was standing in the left lane of Tiny Town Road near Tobacco Road when she was hit around 7:45 pm. She was not in a crosswalk or intersection.
She was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Officers report that the driver had not seen the woman. They also say the the area was not well lit.
No charges have been filed.
