NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a motorcyle on Murfreesboro Pike just after 9 pm Sunday.
Metro Police report the female victim was crossing the street with a shopping cart near 2761 Murfreesboro Pike when the motorcycle hit her. She was dead at the scene.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non life-threatening injuries. Police believe the driver may have been intoxicated. The DUI unit is investigating.
