NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Police say a woman was struck and killed by a tractor trailer in South Nashville.

The collision happened around 1:20 a.m. Thursday on Harding Place, not far from Antioch Pike and Interstate 24.

Metro police identified the woman as 35-year-old Joey Deliefde. Witnesses reported seeing Deliefde walking into a southbound lane to flag down a vehicle when she was hit by a USPS tractor trailer.
