A woman was shot multiple times overnight during a carjacking in east Nashville.
The victim showed up to TriStar Skyline Medical Center shortly before 2 a.m. Wednesday. She was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, including one to her head.
Officers with Metro Nashville Police said the shooting may have happened in the south Inglewood area.
However, detectives were working to pin down the exact location.
Police have identified a suspect but that person has yet to be arrested.
It’s unclear if the victim knew the suspect.
No additional details were known.
