A woman was taken to an area hospital after she was struck by a stray bullet at an apartment complex in Nashville.
The incident was reported Thursday morning near Haynes Gardens Apartments on Whites Creek Pike.
Officials with Metro Nashville Police said two suspects were involved in the shooting. One suspect shot the other in the hand and kept running.
At one point, police said he fired another shot which traveled into an apartment and struck a woman in the leg.
She was taken to TriStar Skyline Medical Center with a non-life-threatening injury.
Police said the gunman is still on the run.
