NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A woman was shot after getting into an argument late Friday night. The call came in just after 11 p.m.
According to police, the woman got into an argument with a man on Perkins Street. During their argument, the man pulled a handgun on the woman and shot her several times in the chest.
Afterward, the suspect fled on foot toward Lafayette Street and J.C. Napier Homes. Police are still looking for him. He is described as a tall, black man who, at the time, was wearing a white shirt and black pants.
The woman was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she is in stable condition.
