CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — A teenager's body was found inside a vehicle pulled from the Cumberland River Sunday, after it crashed last Tuesday.
Clarksville Police say the crash happened near Riverside Drive between Commerce Street and Crossland Avenue. They say divers couldn't enter the water to remove the car until this morning, due to weather conditions and the river current.
After starting their search at 10 a.m., crews located the car around 11:30 a.m.
Jasonah Crawford, 18, was the only person found in the vehicle.
Police are investigating the crash.
