Women Make History In Metro Council

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Voters elected not only the most women to ever hold a seat in Metro Council, but also the most minority women in the Council At-Large.

Erica Gilmore and Sharon Hurt were both voted into the Metro Council At-Large. Gilmore won with 49,996 votes and Hurt with 38,317votes.
