Bee Taylor is a self-described "underground artist." She's also a member of Nashville's newly re-launched organization #WomenCrush Music.
"Every single female artist has a different sound. Whether that be lyrically or musically. And I think that's pretty special," she said.
Taylor says making it in Music City is hard, but joining a community of artists helps.
Lauren Autry is the Chapter Leader.
As a singer-songwriter herself, she's spent years growing area contacts. Now, Autry is using her connections and her passion to bring women of all levels and backgrounds together.
"It's simply to connect educate and to inspire rising women in the music industry," she said.
She says, using events and live shows, #WomenCrush Music will thrive in Nashville.
"There's no exclusivity. It's all women at all levels. Just come find us. You have a home," she said.
