While some Middle Tenesseans might hate, the recent bitter cold, some mammals at the Nashville Zoo live for the cold weather.
Red Pandas are one of those animals. They are native to the Himalayan Mountains and love the cold.
The goats and cougars have their own shelter and heating system.
"It's like sunny and 75 in their world. Cougars are also found in the northern areas of north america so they're also very used to the snow and the cold in the mountain areas,” said Jim Bartoo, Zoo Public Relations Director.
Some of the animals who love warmer climates have indoor areas they can go to get out of the cold.
