Should you be able to deny service to someone because of your religious beliefs? That's the debate going after Masterpiece Cakeshop owner Jack Phillips refused to bake a wedding cake for a gay couple in Colorado. The Colorado Civil Rights Commission felt this was a clear case of discrimination against the couple, and ruled against Phillips. But the Supreme Court overturned that decision, as they felt the commission didn't fairly consider the cake shop owner's religious beliefs.
