WTVF-NASHVILLE — Is consolidation the right plan to fix North Nashville schools budget and attendance problems?
Last Tuesday the MNPS board approved a plan to consolidate four of the under-enrolled schools in the area to address the looming budget issues for the upcoming school season. The ReimaginED plan was devised after years of low enrollment, and the increase of families moving to charter schools.
Metro council's Jonathan Hall and Kyontze Toombs represent the residents of North Nashville, and joined Ben Hall on OpenLine to give their take on the plans.
