WTVF-NASHVILLE — Is the process to restore your vote too complicated? According to their report, Tennessee has some of the strictest voter restoration laws in the country. Some of which result in lifetime bans for specific felonies.
Think Tennessee argues that such a complicated process costs taxpayers money, and increases the likelihood of those with felony convictions returning to prison.
