WTVF-NASHVILLE — What's holding up Body Cameras in Metro Nashville?
Budget concerns are the biggest factor.
A budget report by the District Attorney General's office projected tens of millions of dollars to fund the Body camera roll out. Why the high cost? The city needs a system to house and share the footage, then it needs staffing to sort through, and log the footage.
So there are many questions as to how this will get done. James Smallwood, Fraternal Order of Police President joined Ben Hall on OpenLine efor the discussion.
