When is it too late?
Senator Mark Pody (R), and Representative Micah Van Huss (R_ are sponsoring what has become known as the Heartbeat bill. Which originally stated that the moment a fetal heartbeat is detected, an abortion would be prohibited.
That bill has since been amended, which now states that after an ultrasound is conducted, the technician must provide the results of that ultrasound to the mother. Which would show whether or not a heartbeat was detected.
