Zero Tolerance: Separation at the Border

In April, President Trump's Administration instituted a zero-tolerance immigration policy, where migrants captured at the border are detained and criminally prosecuted. Any children who accompany those captured are also detained, and separated from their families. The policy aimed to deter parents from attempting to cross over with their children.
