NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — According to a 2025 report by The Sentencing Project, in the United States, more than 97,000 people serving life sentences are technically eligible for parole. Yet many, especially Black men, remain behind bars for decades beyond their eligibility dates.

On this episode of Urban Outlook, host April Eaton is joined by Rahim Buford, Founder of Unheard Voices Outreach, whose mission is to help people incarcerated get paroled.
