5 ways to get your body ready for summer

It’s the time of year where Americans come out from hiding under oversized sweaters and knee-high boots.

Here are six ways to get ready to show your body off this summer.

Take care of hair
Unwanted hair is the last thing anyone wants when heading out for a fun day at the beach. Laser hair removal is a great alternative for those who are tired of daily shaving and who prefer an alternative to waxing. Laser reduces and can permanently stop hair growth with repeated treatments.

Boost your energy
Summer fun can be draining — make sure you’re able to keep up with your friends by regulating your energy levels. B12 shots are a great way to enhance your energy, stamina & metabolism. When you have healthy levels of B12 in your system you can feel less moody and also sleep better at night.

Avoid the bloat
Some foods may lead to unwanted belly bloating. Look for foods that are satisfying without leading to a temporary bulge. Limit artificial sweeteners, soda, sports drinks and dairy. Try foods like broccoli, raw almonds, cucumber and asparagus. The number one key is to stay hydrated.

Get active
It is important to have at least 20-30 minutes of physical activity per day. It can be as simple as a daily walk to get your heart rate up. Exercising can help improve your cardio health and increase your metabolism.

Stay sun safe
Fun in the sun is just what a person needs this summer, but it shouldn’t come at the expense of his skin. Harmful rays can cause darks spots, discoloration and destroy skin’s elasticity. Be sure to cleanse, exfoliate, detoxify and revitalize skin to keep it looking its best. Microdermabrasion, Juvederm and facials are great ways to treat skin right. Consider getting a skin service at Crystal Clear Luxury Day Spa in Smyrna, Tennessee.

Most importantly, love yourself and be uniquely you. Happy summer!
