NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Lipscomb had lost 3 of its last 4 games heading into Thursday night's showdown against Kennesaw State, Ahsan Asadullah and Michael Buckland made sure it wouldn't be 4 out of 5.
The pair combined for 53 points in the Bisons 85-73 win against the Owls.
Lipscomb (7-9, 2-1) led by as many as 21 points in the 2nd half.
Asadullah scored a season high 28 points to go along with 11 rebounds. Buckland's 25 points was also a season high.
The Bisons made 13 of their 26 shots from three-point range and outrebounded Kennesaw State (1-15, 0-3) 40-25.
Lipscomb returns to action Saturday afternoon against North Alabama.
