MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Austin Grammer threw a 12-yard touchdown pass to Marcus Henry on fourth-and-goal with 19 seconds left, rallying Middle Tennessee past Florida Atlantic 35-34 on Saturday night to become bowl eligible.

The Blue Raiders (6-5, 4-2 Conference USA) were trailing 34-21 late, but stormed back as Reggie Whatley scored on a 9-yard run to make it 34-28 with 4:15 left.

FAU (3-8, 2-4) was forced to punt, and Grammer found Henry for the game-winner on fourth down, capping a 13-play, 70-yard drive. Cody Clark's point after attempt provided the go-ahead point.

Jaquez Johnson's desperation heave was intercepted by Jared Singletary as time expired.

Whatley had career-highs with 190 yards on 19 carries and three touchdowns. Grammer threw for 160 yards and Henry had six receptions for 92 yards.

Johnson threw for 304 yards and two touchdowns, including a 5-yard score to Alex Deleon for a 13-point lead with 5:50 remaining.
