MUFREESBORO, Tenn. (AP) - Giddy Potts scored 11 points, and nailed a key 3-pointer in overtime, to lift Middle Tennessee over Old Dominion 68-58 on Thursday.

Potts' 3-pointer with 2:24 left in overtime put Middle Tennessee (11-8, 4-2 Conference USA) up 58-56. Jaqawn Raymond's layup on the next trip down made it a four-point game and after Trey Freeman's jumper missed, Old Dominion was forced to foul. The Blue Raiders made eight straight free throws to seal the win.

ODU's Jonathan Arledge hit a 3-pointer to make it 54-52 with 20 seconds left. Jacob Ivory's jumper with nine seconds left tied it at 54, and when Arledge's jumper with two seconds remaining missed, it went to overtime.

Ivory led Middle Tennessee with 12 points. Darnell Harris scored 11 and Raymond finished with 10 points.

Old Dominion (15-3, 4-2) was led by Freeman with 18 points.
