Middle Tennessee State University running back Desmond Anderson has been released from the hospital after sustaining an injury during Saturday's game.
Anderson was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center after getting hurt against North Texas.
The freshman running back had to be carted off the field after taking a hard hit in the 4th quarter.
It's unclear as to what injuries he suffered; however, he has been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
Middle Tennessee went on to win 41-7. The loss gave North Texas only its second season with double-digit losses in the program's 91-year history.
