NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Nashville Soccer Club will begin full-team training for the first time since MLS suspended operations due to COVID-19 in mid-March.
In order to maintain a safe environment for all players and staff, Nashville SC officials say they will remain in compliance with local health and government policies and adhere to the detailed health and safety protocols that were created in consultation with medical and infectious disease experts.
Full team training is mandatory for all players. And the team will continue to prepare for the "MLS is Back" Tournament at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla. on July 8 through Aug. 11.
Nashville was drawn as Team 6 in Group A and will take on Orlando City SC, Philadelphia Union and Chicago Fire FC in the Group Stage. Group A will also feature fellow 2020 Expansion Club Inter Miami CF and New York City FC.
