The Tennessee Titans have released Bishop Sankey and Justin Hunter just one day after the final preseason game, as well as multiple other players.
Early Friday, a source confirmed that both running back Bishop Sankey and wide receiver Justin Hunter have been cut.
Sankey was picked in the second round of the 2014 NFL Draft. Hunter was drafted in 2013, also as a second-round pick.
Late Friday afternoon, the Titans released a full list of the players who were waived:

Also terminated from the team was veteran running back Dexter McCluster.
Thursday night, the Titans wrapped up a 3-1 preseason with a win over the Dolphins.
General Manager Jon Robinson and head coach Mike Mularkey had to make additional cuts to trim the roster down to the 53-man regular season limit by Saturday's 3 p.m. deadline.
