VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Titans Wide Receiver Justin Hunter was arrested and charged with felonious assault.
Officials in Virginia Beach, Virginia said 24-year-old Justin Scott Hunter turned himself in Monday after a warrant was filed in relation to an incident in early July.
Authorities said they were called to a large fight at Sandbar Raw Bar in the 2100 block of Atlantic Avenue in the late night hours of July 3.
A victim was later taken to the hospital for injuries sustained during the incident.
According to investigators, the suspect was Hunter.
Hunter was charged with one count of felonious assault and lodged in the Virginia Beach City Jail on no bond. He was scheduled to be arraigned in court Tuesday afternoon.
The investigation was ongoing.
