NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Preds fans, mark your calendars for August 1.
The NHL announced their tentative return to play plan Monday afternoon.
The league, along with the NHL Player's Association, are aiming to begin the start of the qualifying round August 1.
If the agreement is approved, teams would formally start training camp July 13 with teams traveling to their respective conference's hub cities July 26.
The league also announced a four year extension to the current collective bargaining agreement.
The return to play plan is now subject to approval by the NHL Board of Governors along with the NHLPA Executive Board.
The process is expected to take a few days to complete.
