The team flew back to Nashville Monday afternoon to a very welcoming crowd.
Although Anaheim looked solid in game two, the Preds took control of the game by the second period. The wins felt great, but the team knows not to get complacent.
“You got to win four games to win the playoff series so it doesn't mean much right now,” said defenseman Roman Josi.
“We're desperate,” added forward Filip Forsberg. “Two. We want to get the third win and that's what we're going for.”
The puck drops at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. but fans can come early to be a part of the Preds for a Plaza Party starting at 5:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the blue and gold spirit has been felt throughout Nashville as fans show their support. The lights at the Omni Hotel have changed in the team's honor and is scrolling "Go Preds" at the top.
There are still a limited amount of tickets left. Fans can purchase them starting at 10 a.m. on the Smashville app.
