NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF)  — Nashville lost their first game under new head coach John Hynes Tuesday night 6-2 against the Boston Bruins.

Boston took the lead less than two minutes into the game and didn't look back, scoring three goals in the 3rd Period to put the game out of reach.

Filip Forsberg scored his 15th goal of the season to make it 2-1Boston, but the Preds couldn't get any closer.

It's the Preds 5th loss in their last six games.

Hynes was announced as the Preds new head coach Tuesday morning. He takes over after Peter Laviolette was fired Monday evening.

Nashville heads to Chicago to take on the Blackhawks Thursday.
