NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — The Tennessee Titans got a little bit of a break from the weather and started Monday's training camp practice inside the bubble.
The team, wearing full pads, then hit the practice fields to work on goal line situations and one-on-one tackling drills, before focusing on 11 on 11 situations.
Yesterday, receiver A.J. Brown participated in position drills and today, the rookie practiced in team drills for the first time since training camp began. Brown spoke with reporters after practice saying "It's a great feeling. It's a blessing to be back out here with team. It's been a struggle just sitting here and watching but now I can participate. Just taking it slow, day by day."
Running backs Derrick Henry and David Fluellen, along with tight end Delanie Walker, outside linebacker Cameron Wake, defensive tackle Jurrell Casey guard Nate Davis, receiver Tanner McEvoy and defensive lineman Frank Herron did not practice today.
The Titans will have Tuesday off and on Wednesday, the New England Patriots will arrive for two days of joint practice with the Titans at Saint Thomas Sports Park. Practices on Wednesday and Thursday are open to the public. The two teams will play a preseason game at Nissan Stadium on Saturday night.
