NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WTVF) — Tennessee Titans left tackle Taylor Lewan faces a four-game suspension after he tested positive for a banned substance.
Lewan acknowledged the suspension on Wednesday, saying he received a letter from the NFL a few weeks ago.
Thank you to everyone who sees this video and supports me. My family and I are so grateful to the Tennessee Titans organization and fans for your support. I will post the polygraph information next. #NoBadDays pic.twitter.com/lE9iEMmLxw— Taylor Lewan (@TaylorLewan77) July 24, 2019
“I want everybody to know I’ve never taken this supplement knowingly and I’ve never cheated the game and never will,” Lewan said on social media.
Lewan went on to apologize to the team and fans, saying he’s taken a polygraph test and passed it. He says from now on, he will get his supplements tested by a third party.
