The Commodores are 2-0 after opening the season with wins against Austin Peay and Delaware.
NC State enters the game 1-1 after losing to Virginia and bouncing back with a win against Richmond.
Saturday's game at FirstBank Stadium is Vanderbilt's third straight at home to begin the season.
Kickoff is at 11:45 a.m. on Sept. 19.
