1/2 c granulated sugar
1/4 c brown sugar packed
2 t vanilla extract
1 large egg
1 3/4 c all-purpose flour*
1/2 t baking soda
1/2 t kosher salt
1 c chunky chocolate chips

Method
Preheat the oven to 350 F.
In a large bowl, mix melted butter with the sugars until well-combined.
Stir in vanilla and egg until mixed evenly
Add the flour, baking soda, and salt. Mix until just combined. Dough should be soft and kinda sticky.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Scoop out 4 tablespoons of dough (extra-large cookie scoop) and place on baking sheet.

Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until cookies are set. They will be puffy and still look a little under baked in the middle.
Add candied bacon immediately to the top of cookies so it sticks
