Jennifer Turner talked about the Tennessee Performing Arts Center’s 40th Anniversary Celebration, a gift to the community for their support the past 40 years. The free, virtual celebration will be held on Saturday, February 20 at 7pm. The event will be hosted by actor Tamiko Robinson Steele and featuring its three professional resident companies: Nashville Ballet, Nashville Opera, and Nashville Repertory Theatre. Special guests include Tony Award-nominee Susan Egan, actor and recording artist Diana DeGarmo, award-winning artist Nan Gurley, Spotlight Award-winner Hatty King, a special birthday message from Florida Georgia Line, and more. The virtual 40th Anniversary Celebration is free to view, but patrons have the option of pre-purchasing gourmet dinner and appetizer packages from Juniper Green with proceeds going to TPAC’s Forward! Recovery Fund. Other community partners are also helping TPAC Celebrate. Goo Goo Cluster has created “The Encore”, a delicious special edition Goo Goo created to commemorate TPAC’s “Ruby” anniversary. Patrons can go to www.TPAC.org/Celebrate to reserve access to watch the 40th Anniversary Celebration for free. Reservations for pre-purchasing gourmet dinner and appetizer packages for the event will end on Thursday, February 18 at 5pm.
