Penny Adams talked about how to adopt a new pet or foster one for the holidays. Williamson County Animal Center is partnering with Metro Animal Care and Control to offer $25 adoption fees with an approved application during the month of December (puppies excluded). Both shelters will also be offering the opportunity to foster shelter pets over Christmas (Dec. 23-Jan 2). Those interested in fostering for WCAC need to be Williamson county residents and can fill out a foster application online at www.adoptwcac.org. Also, Williamson County residents who adopt at WCAC between Dec. 17-24 can request a Christmas morning delivery within Williamson County (at no extra fee) from volunteer elves.
