Maple Whiskey Glazed Green Beans Serves 4-6

3 cups cut fresh green beans

4 bacon strips, cut into 1” pieces

1 medium onion, chopped

½ cup dried cranberries

¼ cup maple syrup

2 tablespoons Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey

¼ tsp salt

¼ tsp pepper

Cook green beans until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook bacon until almost crisp; add onions to bacon and continue cooking until onions are tender. Drain excess grease from skillet. Stir in cranberries, syrup, whiskey, salt & pepper. Add beans; heat through, tossing to combine. Serve.
