Melissa Seykora showed how to make holiday ornaments out of natural plant materials. The annual Holiday Lights Carriage & Trolley tours is Saturday and Sunday, December 7 & 8 in the historic Hillsboro-West End neighborhood and retail district. The event will feature horse-drawn carriage rides through the district to see the beautiful vintage homes and stunning displays of holiday light. A Village of Flowers and other shops and restaurants in Hillsboro Village will be open late on Saturday, December 7 when Melissa will be demonstrating how to make holiday ornaments out of native plants. Limited free parking is available at the Martin Center, Cornerstone Financial Credit Union parking lot, and along 24th Avenue by Dragon (Fannie Mae Dees) Park.
