Chef Kyle Patterson prepared one of the tasty menu items from Movie Musical Mondays at Sinema. (see recipe below ) Movie Musical Mondays runs every Monday through the end of July. They take place in the Lounge at Sinema beginning at 5 p.m. Each week will feature two or three musicals, with seating arranged to view the big screen & audio turned up for singing along. Marinated Mozzarella "Salad"
1 Cup Fresh Mozzarella (torn)
1/2 Cup Peppadew Peppers
1/4 Cup Diced Red Onion
1/2 Cup Fresh Cherry or Grape Tomatoes
3 T Olive Oil
2 T Champagne Vinegar
2 T Salt
2 T Course Black Pepper
Salt TT
Fresh Herbs: Whatever you on hand, I love using the combination of chive, basil and oregano personally but use whatever you have in your garden or sitting in your fridge. Just chop it it up (or tear it for a more rustic feel)
Variation: Adding spinach or any greens and it will make great salad or throwing it in a pan with some cooked pasta in the oven for 10 minutes at 350 and you have an amazing caprese bake.
Method:
Put everything in a bowl and mix, will hold for 2 days in the fridge (and repurposes wonderfully as a grilled cheese)
Yields: a light cocktail snack for 4
