1 lb mussels, fresh or frozen
1 T garlic, minced fresh
1 shallot, small diced
1/4 c celery, dice
1/4 lb butter
2 c white wine
Salt & pepper to taste
1. Combine mussels, garlic, shallots, celery and white wine in a saute pan. Cover with lid.
2. Turn on medium high heat and reduce mixture until mussels begin to open. 3-4 minutes.
3. Add butter and reduce until butter is melted and coating the mussels.
4. Serve with grilled or toasted bread.
