New Orleans BBQ Jumbo Shrimp
8 fresh jumbo shrimp (peeled and deveined)
1/4 c Worcestershire sauce
1 T fresh lemon juice
1 t ground black pepper
1 Creole seasoning
1/2 t minced garlic
1 1/2 sticks unsalted butter
1 loaf of French bread
In a large skillet combine shrimp, Worcestershire, lemon juice, black pepper, Creole seasoning, and garlic. Cook over moderately high heat until shrimp turn pink, about 1 minute on each side. Slice butter into small pieces. Reduce heat to moderate and stir in butter, a few pieces at a time, stirring constantly and adding more only when butter is melted. Remove skillet from heat. Place shrimp in a bowl and pour sauce over top. Serve with French bread for dipping.
