Super Bowl Recipes: Honey Sriracha Chicken Wings and Barbecue Chicken Flatbread

SLOW COOKER HONEY SRIRACHA CHICKEN WINGS

3 lbs fresh chicken wings, separated at drumette, if not previously cut

1 ¼ t salt, divided

½ t pepper

1/3 c Kroger Sriracha hot sauce

¼ c plus 1 T honey, divided

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 c Kroger sour cream

1 T fresh lime juice

2 T lime zest

Set oven to broil. Line a large rimmed sheet pan with foil; place a large rectangular wire rack on top; spray both with cooking spray. Place chicken pieces in a single layer on rack; sprinkle 1 t salt and pepper over chicken. Broil 3-inches from heat for 10-12 minutes or until browned, turning halfway through broiling time. Spray a 3 ½-4 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Place chicken in slow cooker. In a small bowl mix hot sauce, ¼ cup honey and garlic until well blended. Pour over chicken and stir to coat. Cover and cook on Low heat setting 3 hours. Remove with tongs or slotted spoon; discard cooking liquid. In a small bowl mix sour cream, lime juice, zest and remaining honey and salt; stir until blended. Serve chicken wings with lime sour cream and additional hot sauce if desired. Yield: 12 servings

BARBECUE CHICKEN FLATBREAD

1 c grilled or rotisserie chicken, chopped

1/3-1/2 c Simple Truth Organic Sweet and Spicy BBQ Sauce

1 c shredded mozzarella cheese, divided

2 Flatout Flatbreads

¼ c thinly sliced red onion, quartered

Preheat oven to 450F with rack positioned in the center. Combine chicken and BBQ sauce in a medium-sized bowl. Spread half of cheese on each of 2 flatbreads. Top with chicken and spoon any remaining sauce from bowl over top. Sprinkle with onion and remaining mozzarella cheese. Arrange flatbread on hot baking sheet. Bake until crust is crisp and cheese melts, about 8 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Yield: 4 servings

**Could also use 2 T Simple Truth Organic Italian Extra Virgin Olive Oil to cook 2 Simple Truth Natural Boneless & Skinless Chicken Breast for about 5 minutes per side. Season with salt and pepper.
