Ellen talked about The Big Payback, Middle Tennessee's 24-hour online day of giving. The Big Payback begins Thursday, May 7 at 6pm and runs through Friday, May 8 at 6pm. The annual event raises money, awareness and support for local organizations. The economic impact of the recent tornado and global pandemic makes it more important than ever to support the hundreds of organizations that feed the hungry, shelter the homeless, fight for the rights of the underserved, foster animals, preserve the arts, provide a safe haven, protect the environment, and teach children.
